Yesterday, Nadira and I performed at Shimmy for a Cause, a wonderful benefit show down in Wilson, NC. This was our third year at SFAC, and we always have a great time.

Because of the road trip involved, it’s usually a full-day event for us to get ready and perform. So here’s a backstage pass:

5: Two and a half hours is a long drive! Nadira rocks it out with some lemonade.

6: The dressing rooms in the Edna Boykins Center down in Wilson, where they hold Shimmy for a Cause, are pretty awesome. Plenty of room. This year we got one all to ourselves!
